hamburger diaries
November 15, 2006 | Filed Under day to day
I like food, I like hamburgers, I like fine dining. A little town in the heart of wine country, Napa Valley called St. Helena has some of the best. Last friday afternoon some friends and I decided to eat at a recently opened restaurant on main street called “cook”.
I was pleased to find that they had their own rendition of a hamburger.
INGREDIENTS:
-buttery toasted ciabatta bun sourced from “model bakery” down the street
-ground beef patty cooked to perfection (nieman cattle ranch beef)
-aged white cheddar cheese and grilled red onions melted atop the patty
-lettuce, and the finest, meatiest tomato you’ll ever sink your teeth into. upon further inquiry the tomatoes were sourced locally from a small vineyard.
feast your hungry little eyes
