Thank god it’s the end of the week and the beginning of a lonnnngg 3 day weekend. (for those of you in the United States)

I just heard a little snippet preview of your favorite Belgiumians Soulwax‘ remix of LCD Soundsystem’s “Get Innocuous” and it’s SOO DISCO ACE!! I’ll post it as soon as I can get my slimy fingers on that wax goodness.
But right now I’m packing for a short little flight up to Sacramento for a nice weekend alas no worrriiiez, daddy tuftsmania is gonna leave you guys with a little some’some.
Here’s a track…. something that you’ll just have to embrace. It’s part of life.
Supermayer, hailing from Germany, really bleeds a Deutsche sound… I don’t know why but it’s very quirky a’la Stereo Total.
Supermayer - The Art of Letting Go
Kris Menace is my new hero. I had heard his tracks in the past, but he really blew my mind on the Lumberjack track with Alan Braxe (which I was totally psyched over). And now here we have an awesome remix of the Midnight Juggernauts that fluokids recently dropped on my ass. Bring the electro house!! Also check that fluokids link for more disco than your little pacemaker-aided heart can handle (ladyhawke!!)
Midnight Juggernauts - Out of the Storm (Kris Menace Magic Touch)
Lastly, what do we have here? WTF!PARIS. That’s right, another killer track from fucking parisians. I don’t know what it is, but for some reason, french bands that sing in english just get me hooked. Stuck in Sound aren’t quite electro/techno, but follow more closely along the lines of heavy disco/punk. The pulsating bass line and piercing/stabbing high-overdrive guitars hit it so well in this track. BEASTTTLY FRENCH.
boooyaa.
paris.
(ps: remix? is anybody there?)

No, not talking about the Passions remix, but it’s very important that I tell you, BAG RAIDERS LET THE DOGS LOOOSE!!
Discobelle recently dropped a track off of their EP with Bang Gang 12 and after hearing it, I must prophecize!
Reigning from where else, Australia, Bag Raiders is bringing the heavy sound and has remixed the likes of Muscles, Sneaky Soundsystem and Harris Robotis no jokes!
I am really, really, really, down with the sound that these guys push. BAG RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK!!
here’s the ridiculous Bag Raiders remix of Sneaky’s ‘I Love It’
Sneaky Soundsystem - I Love It (Bag Raiders Remix)
make sure you cop the single from the EP at D-BELLE!!
I HEART DIGITALISM, and bikes.

Just got back from a grueling morning of classes and was finally able to get some stuff done before I start studying for EXAM1.
FIRST!
I made double strap holders for the extra straps I had lying around. I’m soon going to replace those metal toe-pinching clips to plastic mtb style clips, so the doubles will really come into play. So, SUCK IT TOSHI DOUBLES!! I’m too poor for that shit.
SECOND!

digitalism is so sick! I have said it before, but Digitalism is like, totally awesome. There was a riff that had been haunting me for a couple weeks, and just today, I uncovered the mystery that was ‘Digitalism in Cairo’. That rippling bass line is better than CITS‘ MOTHER.
This is the first track off of the Idealism album and also has the signature ripply(c) bass so BOUNCE WITH ME!!!

First week of LLU is done. I’m sitting here, early Friday afternoon, studying. It’s a relief that the week is done, but the rest of this year is building up to be insane. Enough about the boring life.
I didn’t really talk about the events that transpired this summer, so I’m going to do some backtracking in the upcoming months.

So let’s remember. A few weeks into the summer, I called up my good friend Judy Park for some delicious baked goods (drug laced). Some of you may know that her main hustle is the famous HEY CUPCAKE BAKERY. This shit is no joke!! The couple dozen she gave me were the most delectable cupcakes I’d ever experienced. (aside from LSD) (those of you who know me are fully aware that I don’t have the slightest care for sweets at all, so it’s quite impressive. Props Boody!)
These little things were so good that I wanted to share with everyone I came in contact with. Friends, Family, Family I didn’t know, Moms, Dads, brothers, sisters, friendly looking strangers, angry looking strangers, dirty looking strangers, dirty looking friendly strangers, sex offenders, criminals, crooks, whores. For some reason these little cupcakes really perked me up. (crack)

Here’s to your awesome bakery, you Lagerfeld loving, Marc Jacobs illin, Chloe spending, Castellane blingin’ stunna!
ps: this means, you need to go get some ASAP.
