so i’m confused because their new stuff is by far their best stuff yet. they just get better and better.

I would expect no less from NC. In fact, I would expect any self respecting band to get better with time. It only seems natural to me.

the ce jeu remix is 9 minutes long and on repeat all day.. the bossy remix should be played during a women’s runway show.. and his cheap thrillz minimixes are amazing.. though i don’t know how much he’s letting be heard of them now. check them out again.

Alright, now that myspacer Dylan has completed giving me the what’s what in coyote land, I will drop some mad science on what’s real good on these streets.

1. See up there? Yeah, right there, right at the top of this page. “TUFTSMANIA SHLOG”. I don’t see it saying “NEON COYOTE DICK HUMPING BLOG”. The healthy fellas of NC have their own spot to blow their load AKA: M.O.C.I.A.S. (it’s good, get the feed.)

2. I have heard neon coyote lately. I hear them daily, in fact. The new Yelle remix? It’s excellent. Kelis remix? excellent. The minimixes? baller.

3. When I first started covering their tracks, they were a relatively unknown, unearthed gem in the blog world. I was very excited to be able to spread the word about this hot new talent, so that’s what I did. As of late, NC has been wildly successful in my opinion. For instance: they played a NYE party with Big Stereo(!!!!!!) and have had numerous blog coverage over the course of what…less than a YEAR. If that doesn’t say success I don’t know what does.

4. With #3 out of the way, I’m not responsible for single-handedly dropping every single new track NC puts out just because I am a fan of their music. Now that we all the other blogs buzzing about them, mission accomplished. (john, send me more music please, thanks.)

So will I ‘check them out again’?

Absolutely not.

I never stopped checking them out.

Finale: hats off to Neon Coyote for doing their thing, Dylan for being a model citizen (possible groupie) update: correction, neon coyote’s best boy, and to me for being an asshole who doesn’t blog about Dylan’s favourite wild dogs. <3

and, in all honesty, this was in my “to blog” list.

It has an ‘airy’ feel, makes me want to just chill, love life, donate, make out.
