There is a ton of shit that I FEEL like I’ve written about, but judging by activity of this website, I obviously haven’t. Time to play the “What’s TUFTSMANIA been listening to over the past year game“!
These Brazilian gangsters known as The Twelves have been putting their disco-keyboard touch onto to tracks around the world like a really good sounding case of HSV. They also do absolutely fuego-breathing original productions, some of which you will listen to in short time.
Here are two originals that are definitely ★★★★★ in my iTunes library. (sidebar: Do you use the star rating feature? do you use half stars?)
Keyboards (very many), hand claps (very many), synthy disco drums (very many) and tambourines (very many). All these create a monster that vomits, shits, pisses glorious sounds.

And most recently, here’s a remix of The Brighton Port Authority, which gives you a good example of what The Twelves can do with their remixes (and how awesome they sound).
The original song featuring Iggy Pop is pretty amazing, but it is far from fit for use (ha haaa! I made electro pun!. RIP) in da clubbzzz. It sounds like the 12s dudes pretty much created their own score for the vocal track on this piece. This is one of the few (if not only) very welcome Iggy Pop remakes.
UPDATE: SORRY EVERYONE, apparently the original upload of this track was corrupt and only played 40seconds. It’s fixed now, I love you all please re-download this and play it forever.

Pacific! has been a love in my life for almost 2 years now. Not to be confused with the (also awesome) band Pelifics, whom I’ve featured recently, Pacific! has a somewhat similar smooth sound.
This one’s remixed by Fuzzz Whitaker, and I don’t know shit about him, other than this track is chill2themax. end of story. (HOLLER AT ME FUZZZ)

Next is a remix of an utter classic. (haaaaz udder). Listen. This is Findlay Brown (tite), and he’s been given a tiny edit by Pilooski (MAD FUEGO K-POP). It’s just the right thing to ease into right after a classy dinner party when people have a baby buzz on red wine and you’re getting ready to pour the scotch.
Sit down, close your eyes, slouch down on the couch… you can take your pants off if you want to.

Everyone’s favorite Hamburg native D.I.M makes something I like to call “wildly productive music“. You Have a listen. It’s akin to popping Adderall as if they were M&M’s.
It will turn you super focused on whatever you’re doing. Including dancing. You will glaze over, becoming a zombie jackin’ on the dancefloor. This one is off of D.I.M’s earlier release with Turbo and is also the title of the 7 inch, Sysiphos. Get learned, and get focused.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE DOOM from Bang Gang 12″. They are fucking bad ass and insane party animals. He keeps my inbox oh so happy.
These were received quite some time ago and I was buried with work at the time. I still am. But since I’ve decided to not care anymore they’re gonna show their pretty little faces right here.
Way back when (blog years), ZZZ remixed the Bag Raider’s “Fun Punch”. an epic single. It was a hit, and now they’re back with another $$$$$$ piano-filled-face-melting-trip.
Bag Raiders is now returning the favor and remixing ZZZ’s FUEGO track, “Lion”. (and the great big gay australian circle jerk lives on, in a good way.) A bit of the pianos have been deleted in favor of our favorite Bag Raiders outer-galaxy space sounds.

AND I WANT TO FUCKING CRY. this is what dreams are made of.
This isn’t to say that the original isn’t worth a listen, because it’s magnificent on it’s own.
