I am completely shitting myself with the onslaught of amazing tracks that have been gracing my ears. The past couple of weeks have been all about new talent, new tracks, and new discoveries. Why did they pick me to listen to these tracks? One may never know, but I’m not going to complain.

i’m such a fag. Enough gushing.

Lately, a certain someone with a name beginning with CH and ending with O has been destroying blogs worldwide. No, not Chromeo.
Germany’s Choreo is back, and he wants to play the 80’s synth banger game.

The syncopated cowbell/hats, the synth, perfect tom fills, the dirty guitar riffs, and what!!???!?!? HAND CLAPS TO FINISH THE BUILD UP INTO THE LAST VERSE!?!?!??? COME ON!!!

Choreo 1, The Game 0.

in all its 320kb/s glory only from TUFTSMANIA…

AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The second and final in this series is destined to do one and only one thing. To instantly turn any situation into a completely ridiculous, body slamming, bitch slapping, face scratching, DNA mutating, debauchery fest. Sorry, I ran out of freak-out adjectives.

I feel like bouncing at the mere thought of this track. Overall, the track has a very ‘ghetto tech/miami bass’ feel to it, and it works oh so very well. From beginning to end, it keeps the heartrate up and with a tiny little bridge into buildup in the middle gives it a suspenseful changeup in pace. But before you know it, the track beats you down in the face for slowing down and enjoying the sweetness of the melody.

so don’t stop.

You too, Neon Coyote, you too.

turn it up really, really loud for this one.

This just in, a TUFTSMANIA exclusive, new Neon Coyote remix!!

The Brooklyn duo John and Will make up Neon Coyote. With a recent spot on Indie 103.1’s “NEON NOISE” with D.A.N.C.E.P.A.R.T.Y., they’re on a hot streak and here’s what they have to say about their style.

“Neon Coyote is constantly trying to make every song and mix sound different from the last. I try and listen to songs and see if they could be portrayed in a different light like with the Eluvium or Mstrkft remix, but then sometimes its just fun to pump the shit out of a track like 9H20. So no matter what, we try to keep people on their toes.” - Will

“We got a dark side, a coke rap side, a mellow side, a dirty electro side, and a kodak moment side.
And we’re trying to do it all at the same time. We’re hard working. I just wanna see people freak their stuff when they’re listening to our tunes.” - John

I’ve been in contact with these guys for a minute now, and all the things I hear coming from their magic fingers has been showing improvement, attention to detail, and completely awesome-freak-out-bangyourhead music.

Now instead of a mixtape, here are some very well thought out BARELY remixes. I call them barely remixes because they only borrow elements from the originating tracks and don’t at all resemble the tone or mood of the original artist’s intent.

SO! In this 2 part series, the first that we’ll be releasing exclusively on TUFTSMANIA….

MSTRKRFT - She’s Good For Business (Neon Coyote Remix) (click this for zshare backup)

Coyote sounds, hand claps, awesome ‘duran duran’ tom rolls. (recipe for awesome)

I will admit, the first time playing this track, I was a little skeptical after hearing it was a remix of a MSTRKRFT track (who remixes MSTRKRFT???), but I was proven wrong and have been bouncing non stop. Also repeating this track all weekend and every time I listen, there’s always another element to discover. This shit is seriously so multi-layered! It’s like Girl Talk but with more finesse. You’ll definitely feel it deep within your loins when the rhythm breaks down in the 2nd half of the song.

Honestly, I really can’t get over how much I love the handclaps. They do me so well.

Thanks Neon Coyote, you gave me techno rabies.

!!!check back tomorrow for part 2 (get ready, you will freak)!!!
