…but now I’m hearing good things IN MY EARS FROM BARCELONA. I know you all have heard “The Boola” from Mendetz, or a variation of it (download: plus move remix). Well, here’s me presenting to you, The Requesters, hailing from Barcelona (as well as Mendetz)!! I effing love foreigners more than ever.
Their remix takes the track in a direction that I was pleased to see it transform into. Glitching the vocals, cueing “the boola”, and then an awesome compression buildup into the bridge. The track proceeds to build a somewhat new melody, and OMG I love the organ + hand claps into the chorus vocals.
oh hell. I’m going to have to make some changes to my best of 07 mixtape. wait. did I just let that slip?
