Choreo from germany is at it again, this time with a remix of Kelis - Milkshake. You probably already know that I’ve been freaking out over Choreo ever since, forever.
Although it doesn’t lose sight of the original Milkshake track (which can be dangerous), this track is straight Choreo from beginning to end. His twist puts a strange insanity to the track that can’t be overcome.
Things you need to watch out for: cutting synth guitar, hand claps, choreo-hats-snare, toy piano arpeggios. These things will kick you in the face if you’re not dancing.

Will Choreo-mania sweep the nation? With people make a special sign with their hands that stands for ‘Choreo’? Will he get to design his own clothing line with german designer Karl Lagerfeld? Will he play Madison Square Garden? When will people catch on to the fact that ‘dj’s playing live’ is really dj’s playing back cds?

I’m leaving tomorrow (friday), for a little R&R in Idaho and Montana, hunting snow leopards. (or some fresh POWWW)
I plan on leaving my electronic leash behind, but I’m sure the temptation will be overwhelming, so maybe some possible updates.

I am completely shitting myself with the onslaught of amazing tracks that have been gracing my ears. The past couple of weeks have been all about new talent, new tracks, and new discoveries. Why did they pick me to listen to these tracks? One may never know, but I’m not going to complain.

Lately, a certain someone with a name beginning with CH and ending with O has been destroying blogs worldwide. No, not Chromeo.
Germany’s Choreo is back, and he wants to play the 80’s synth banger game.
The syncopated cowbell/hats, the synth, perfect tom fills, the dirty guitar riffs, and what!!???!?!? HAND CLAPS TO FINISH THE BUILD UP INTO THE LAST VERSE!?!?!??? COME ON!!!

When you stop, everything else keeps on moving.
Ever since school started, I’ve been coming across some great new music. That, or I just don’t hear new music anymore.
Just got this in the mail today, a couple new tracks from Choreo!
This dude hails out of Germany and I’m definitely hearing some fun little 80’s and indie pop influence in his bangers. Anyway, this track “Cut the Dust” is absolutely killing it. It’s got dirty synth, a banging beat, high hats that make you want to have a SEIZURE!! The intro might leave you wondering if you’re just going to hear the same loop for the whole track, but I assure you just in time for you to skip to the next track, the rewards flow and cuts straight through the dust in an awesome ‘pop/happy/synthy’ buildup for the last verse. Choreo, make the ending last longer!!!

ANOTHER ONE!!! LET’S GOOO!!
Here’s another new discovery for me! Introducing….MERCURIUS. Probably the coolest remix of two Chromeo songs I’ve ever heard. (probably the only). Anyway, Mercurius takes 100% and Tenderoni, and make a new beast that combines/chops/skews/flips the funnest parts of both tracks. Just take a listen.
