This track is so massive. I must admit, back when I was first hearing about Calvin Harris, I held my own reservations. But after actually hearing his catchy as shit production skills, it was inevitable. I was hooked. You might remember the Roisin Murphy track that went up here not too long ago. (pop-disco-fire)
Here’s what I’m talking about. A trip down epic string synth lane with Calvin Harris’ version of The Hours – “See the Light”. It starts with that whimsical toy synth then jumps into the harmonized staccato but THEN FINALLY….. the MAD WILD roto-esque big-room synth chorus drops bombs. All held down by such a solid bassline that would make Randy Jackson bring back his jheri curl.
